Whereby, having recited: firstly, BA/A/G/15/3-4; secondly, 14 May 1781 articles of agreement as in BA/A/G/15/8; thirdly, that John Harrold married Mary [II] Eburne; fourthly, BA/A/G/15/6-7; fifthly, 6 Aug 1786 declaration as in BA/A/G/15/8; sixthly, that on 26 Feb 1787 John [I] Clarke paid Edward [I] Harrold £200; seventhly, that John and Mary Harrold had no children; eighthly, 8 Jan 1794 reconveyance by E. [I] Harrold to John [I] Clarke; ninthly, that E. [I] Harrold's 11 Sep 1786 will left residuary estate to John and the since-deceased Edward [II] Harrold as executors; tenthly, that J. Harrold proved his father's will; eleventhly, that J. Harrold's 9 Apr 1796 will left his Coventry premises to his wife Mary (now Newcomb), together with his personalty, appointing her and John Clowes (of Coventry, gentleman, since deceased) executors, she proving it; twelfthly, that Mary Harrold was therefore entitled to the £100 and £200; thirteenthly, 2 - 3 Aug 1799 indentures as in BA/A/G/15/8; fourteenthly, BA/A/G/15/8; fifteenthly, that, because no final concord has been levied under BA/A/G/15/10, the interests of Charles Lilly (in 1811 of Coventry, silkman) and Robert Bunney (in 1811 described as in BA/A/G/15/8) have not passed to Josiah Corrie (described as in BA/A/G/15/10); sixteenthly, that John [I] Clarke's 17 Dec 1801 will left his Coventry property (except some in Hill Street opposite St. John's church occupied by his son Samuel, Widow Porteous, Joseph Barton, Joseph Fletcher, John Charley, James Bates, - Gould, Mary Lomax, Mary Payne, William Foster and Joseph Brown) to his sons Francis, John [II] (late of London, silkman but now of Coventry, gentleman; surviving executor of John [I] Clarke (of Coventry, alderman, deceased) and brother of Samuel Clarke, who was brother of Francis Clarke (of Coventry, silkman, deceased) who was eldest son of John [I] Clarke) and Yardley for sale; seventeenthly, that £300 principal is still due; eighteenthly, that Francis and Yardley Clarke postdeceased their father; nineteenthly, that £300 principal is still due; twentiethly, that, of the other £300, £245 has been discharged, so only £130/5/- remains due for that and interest; twenty-firstly, that Thomas Hall (of Coventry, silkman) has agreed with John [II] Clarke to buy the premises for £475, out of which £130/5/- will be paid to Josiah Corrie; and twenty-secondly, that Charles Lilly and Robert Bunney have agreed to participate to corroborate vesting in Francis Perkins (of Pinley, Coventry, esq. and alderman): therefore (in consideration of £130/5/- paid by Thomas Hall to J. Corrie, £344/15/- by T. Hall to J. [II] Clarke (together forming the £475 purchase-money), 10/- by Francis Perkins to Corrie and T. Hall, and 10/- by Hall and F. Perkins to C. Lilly, R. Bunney, William Lines (described as in BA/A/G/15/10) with his wife Elizabeth, and Esther Clarke (widow of Samuel) (Harrold heirs described as in BA/A/G/15/10)) Lilly, Bunney, William Lines et al and J. [II] Clarke convey to Perkins the premises (late occupied by J. [I] Clarke but now by William Hall) and deeds as T. Hall shall appoint without dower-right; Lines et al covenant to levy a final concord in the current Hilary or forthcoming Easter term at T. Hall's request but at J. [II] Clarke's cost.
