Whereby, having recited: firstly, BA/D/A/47/1; secondly, that Henry and Anne [I] Inge long ago predeceased their daughters Ann [II] and Elizabeth [I]; thirdly, that William Holbech died before Julius Olds; fourthly, that J. Olds died intestate, leaving as his only child Frances, who has died since she she made a will (31 May 1760), leaving residuary estate to John Olmius (of New Hall, Essex, esq.) and Nathaniel [I] Cox (of Coventry, mercer); fifthly, that John Olmins predeceased Nathaniel [I] Cox; sixthly, that N. [I] Cox died intestate as regards these deeds' premises, being survived by his brother Thomas; seventhly, that Thomas Cox has died, leaving a son, John [I]; eighthly, that John [I] Cox died during Mar 1798 intestate, leaving as his eldest son John [II]; ninthly, that John [II] Cox died intestate during Sep 1818., leaving as his next eldest brother Nathaniel [II] Cox (in 1820 of Brick Lane, St. Luke's parish, Middlesex, watchmaker); tenthly, that William Inge, paying the £1,500, became entitled to the property; eleventhly, that William Inge died, by his 11 Jun 1760 will making his brother Edward [I] Inge his heir and executor; twelfthly, that E. [I] Inge proved that will; thirteenthly, that interest upon the two £500 sums settled on Anne [II] and Elizabeth [I] Inge was regularly paid by William and E. [I] Inge; fourteenthly, that after Mary Gilbert's marriage to Richard (of Coventry, gentleman) Edward [I] Inge discharged her £500 with interest and BA/D/A/47/2 ensued; fifteenthly, that, by her 4 Sep 1762 will, Anne [II] Inge left residuary personalty to Edward Freeman and Thomas Oldham for investment, they paying the proceeds to her sister Elizabeth [I] for life, then to the testatrix' four nieces Ann Stanton (in 1820 late of Kenilworth parish, Warwickshire but now of Grove Place, Hammersmith, Middlesex, widow), Mary (since deceased) and Elizabeth [II], and Letitia Coxwell (respectively in 1820 of Grove Place aforesaid, spinster and widow) equally, providing that if Mary Gilbert be widowed the interest should be paid from her husband's death to her and Elizabeth [II] Inge equally with cross-remainders, the lastnamed being executrix; sixteenthly, that Elizabeth [I] Inge's 4 Sep 1762 will was, mutatis mutandis, like her sister's; seventeenthly, that Elizabeth [I] survived Anne [II] Inge; eighteenthly, that John [I] Stanton (of Kenilworth, esq.) has died, by his 26 Oct 1807 will directing that William Stanton (of Ashow, Warwickshire, clerk [in Holy Orders]) and Edmund Stanton (of Grafton Street, Fitzroy Square, Middlesex, clerk) should invest a sum sufficient to raise a £300 annuity for his wife Ann for life in satisfaction of a bond, appointing them his executors; twentiethly, that Edward [II] Inge (of the Charterhouse, Coventry, gentleman) has, on behalf of the executors, applied the £1,500 left by Edward [I] Inge to Anne Stanton and the £425 under the spinster sisters' wills so as to buy a £300 annuity; twenty-firstly, that Edward [I] Inge's estates left to Edward [II] are still charged with the sums of £425 apiece to Letitia Coxwell and Elizabeth [II] Inge and another £425 which they share as Mary Inge's executrices; twenty-secondly, that Edward [II] Inge wants the legal estate conveyed and that Nathaniel [II] Cox is prepared to release it; twenty-thirdly, that Edward [II] Inge requires that all his father's devised estate except the Pinley property be discharged; and twenty-fourthly, that N. [II] Cox and A. Stanton [and William Stanton et al?] have agreed to comply: therefore, firstly, for 10/-, N. [II] Cox conveys to Edward [II] Inge the Charterhouse with apputenances, the Park (7a.), Dove House Meadow (2a.), St. Ann's Grove (3a.) (including the dyehouse site) - all in St. Michael's parish and occupied by Edward [II] - along with a Pinley messuage, and 90a. of nearby fields (once held therewith by Thomas Bentley, now by Francis Perkins) with George Greenway (of Attleborough Hall, Warwickshire, gentleman) as his trustee; and secondly, A. Stanton [and her children?] convey to Edwartd [II] Inge all which his father left him except Brook Meadow, Barn Hill Meadow, Barn Hill, Hog Yard, House Close, Great Close, Moat Meadow, Gravelly Hill, Aldermoor Meadow, Castle Hill and The Shrubs (together 87a. 2r. 19p.; lately let to William Stanbridge but now to William Bradshaw and Stephen Hammerton), subject to annuities raised under BA/D/A/47/10.
