By mayor, bailiffs and commonalty to Francis Perkins (of Pinley, Coventry, esq.) of (a) three messuages (heretofore one) with gardens, on the southern side of New Street, once occupied by Edward Wheeler and Thomas Johnson, now by the former and Robert [underlined in pencil] Woodfield, comprising three bays and 44 feet deep (between a messuage successively let to William Edwards, Joseph Clarke, - Adams and now - on the east, one successively demised to Charles Bull, Thomas Smith senior, Daniel Butler and now - on the west), the gardens extending 44 feet from the messuage [sic] and about the same depth [sic], all having been leased on - 17- to Joseph Freeth (of Coventry, maltster) for a 21-year term which will expire on 5 Apr 1812; and (b) three messuages on the northern side of New Street, having a 57-foot frontage, with rear gardens 10.25 yards deep, once inhabited by Edward Green, Widow Martin and Widow Clarke, now by Robert Hall, Thomas Shenstone, Thomas Davis, John Cooper, Mary Hoggins and Ann Cockbill (adjoining corporation premises leased to Mr. William Stanbridge on the west, a messuage once the victualler William Stevens' abode but now -'s on the east), leased on - 17- to Joseph Holland (of Coventry [trade blank], now deceased) for a 21-year term which will expire on 5 Apr 1812: to be held from 5 Apr 1812 for 21 years at £15 per annum.
