To vest an estate in fee simple by conveyance [lease and release (lease for 10 months only)] from John Barker, esq. late alderman and draper of Coventry, Thomas Love and Samuel Snell, aldermen and drapers of Coventry and Anthony Baker, draper of Coventry, all feoffees of the estates of the Drapers' Company to the Drapers' Company of (1) a messuage on the South side of Gosford Street within Gosford Gate with a piece of ground occupied by Thomas Taylor, boundaries extending from the street to Whitefriars Wall, Whitefriars Lane; West, land formerly held by John Cox, gent., now by Humfrey Smalwood; East, land of the Drapers' Company (2) a messuage on the North side of Jordan Well Street, occupied by Robert Parker, cloth worker, formerly occupied by William Barwick, boundaries; West, the land of [ ] Lither of Sowe, formerly of [ ] Steevens; East, land of John Clifton, baker, formerly of Richard Parker (3) three cottages on the East side of Mill Lane, with an adjoining plot used as a tenter yard, extending from the gardens of the cottages to a French Wall, all of which property was formerly leased to Samuel Myles, late of Coventry alderman and is now occupied by John Gilbert, Thomas French and Richard Hickes, boundaries; South, land of Thomas Potter, formerly of John Gilbert; North by land of the Mercers' Company, formerly occupied by John Hoyt, now by Edward Fairbrother (4) a messuage outside Spon-bars, with a croft or meadow adjoining its garden and seven tenements lying together outside Spon-bars, adjoining the messuage, which property is leased to Edward Love of Coventry, draper and occupied by Edward Craddock, Edward Johnson, William Knibbs, Thomas Village and Thomas Eliar, and formerly by Richard Murdock, boundaries; North, Spon Brook; North and West, land of Mr Milward, occupied by [ ] formerly by Humfrey Wilson (5) a close or pasture called Hill Close occupied by Thomas Burberry, previously by John Potter, lying outside Bishop Gate near St. Nicholas Street, leased to Matthew Babington and Richard Hopkins, previously to the late Thomas Saunders, grazier, boundaries; East, the Nuneaton Causeway; North, land of Matthew Smythe; West, land of the Weavers' Company; South, land of the parish of Holy Trinity (6) a piece of ground lying outside Well Street gate, occupied by Thomas Waryn, etc., formerly by Samuel Myles, alderman, of Coventry, deceased, and Thomas Village. Lies to the South West of Well Street, boundaries; West, land of Richard Murdock; East, land of William Stitt; South, the Town Ditch, this land being the site of a house occupied by Benjamin Lawton (7) the Shoulder of Mutton Close, Hill Cross, outside Bishop Street Gate, occupied by William Mosse, innholder, boundaries; East, Radford Road; North, a lane; West, Hill Mill Meadow; South, land occupied by Edmund Biddell and Francis Wright. (8) a close called the Stripe at Jeffrey Woods Cross, in the Country of the City of Coventry, occupied by Samuel Snell and by James Nailor, Alderman and draper of Coventry (9) a grove, wood or coppice called Symons Grove in Keresley in the Country of the City of Coventry, occupied by Samuel Snell (10) a messuage or tenement called Biggin Hall, with buildings, gardens, grass plots, etc., in Stoke in the Country of the City of Coventry with closes called; Sandpits Close, Woodcroft, Cley Closes, Dovehouse Field, a cottage on the West side of the Church Field, with pingle, a newly erected tenement in Church Field, Stoke, with barns, etc., (11) two messuages in Birdingbury, Warws, (12) a close divided into two parts called Hearsall Close or Hearsall Field in the County of the City of Coventry
