Having recited: firstly, PA56/52/11; secondly, that part of the estate has been sold and its trustees, for £8,150, bought (under indentures dated 19-20 May 1795) Shenley, Hertfordshire property; thirdly, that Sampson Lloyd (banker) and William Smith (grocer) also contracted to buy "Foleshill" property purchased for £650 on [a date left blank] under [PA56/52/15-16]; and fourthly, that Sampson Lloyd died on 25 Dec 1802: therefore the testatrix leaves her children John Pemberton Fowler and Thomas, Elizabeth and Jane [II] Fowler (a) the three messuages in The Square, Birmingham (now occupied by John Bingham and known as the "Stork" tavern) with an adjacent house; (b) the Lodge house, Shenley parish (lately inhabited by William Elliott, husbandman) with four fields (of which Great South Croft is 11a. 2r. 30p., Green Dell Field 20a. 3r. 2p., Lodge Field 14a. 2r. 36p. and Little South Croft 9a. 3r. 10p.) and Long Spring (8a. 3r. 20p.; abutting Shenley glebe on the south-west), Lumeridge Corner (12a. 3r. 16p.; abutting Long Spring on the south-west and Great South Croft on the north-east), Wood Field (9a. 3r. 20p.; abutting south-west upon Lodge Field, north-west upon Jeremiah Snow's Great [sic] Dell Field) and Great Coopers Bargain (18a.1r. 26p.; abutting north-east on Middle Coopers Bargain (occupied by William Elliott)), all of which are part of Shenley Hall alias Salisbury manor (enjoyed by Rivers Dickenson, esq.); and (c) Honey Fields and Shuckmore in "Foleshill" parish [recte Holy Trinity], Coventry (occupied by [the victualler] William Callow, [the silkman] John Lapworth and [the currier] John Gater); she also leaves £20 to her executor James Whittem (of Coventry, currier); residuary estate passes to the children equally, who may continue to live in the tenements' dwelling with the testatrix' aunt Sarah Fowler.
