Which left his Ansley and Corley (Warwickshire) and Cross Cheaping, Smithford Street, Much Park Street and Dead Lane messuages and those outside Gosford Gate near Gosford Green (Coventry), excepting his wife Sarah's dower and a croft near Shut Lane (lately Roger Harvey's), to his eldest son Samuel Baron and his bodily heirs, going by successive default to his son Nathaniel, the testator's bodily heirs, his wife, and the children of his deceased sisters Anne Parnell and Katherine Fairbrother equally, Sarah maintaining Samuel from the profits until he be of age but accountable to her son for the rents if she remarry before then.
27 Jul 1660. The testator leaves his son Nathaniel the Jordan Well messuage (occupied by [the clothier] Michael Parker) which was formerly destined for Samuel, who therefore will receive £50 more at 21 years.
